cold valve adjustment

    i replaced 9 of the valves in my 308 and had to back off valve adjustment to remove and install springs. the manual says .010 and .012 clearence when hot. anyone know what to set them at when it's cold for a initial start up? thanks for any help.

    Ive always set mine a little on the looser side cold .011 & .015.....

    .012 and .014 cold unless you plan on a lot of high speed driving then go with .013 and .015

    sounds good. thank you both for helping me out. i want to get this finished up and the side pans back on this morning.
