Weather Strip for 78 Mercury Marquis

Can't remember if I have asked you guys this question before or not. I have a 78 Mercury Marquis 2 door hardtop. I need a complete set of weatherstripping minus the windshield and rear window. The sets I have found are about $700 (these are not complete sets). Anyone have any idea how to do a good job of weatherstripping this Mercury at a reasonable cost? Have looked at universal weatherstripping and cannot make heads or tails of it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
