King-Seeley Gauges
-
Hi there can anyone help, I am wanting to Know the Technical Discription for the wire used in the King-seeley gauges I am told that the wire is Ni-chrome wire 36 gauge but do not know what the technical details are for the wire.It has to be wound on the BI-metal strip which has a sharp edge as per photos & the Insulation must be Heat Resistant. The Gauges are 6 volt and work by heating the Bi-metal strip. Points open and close continually to give the readout at the gauge. Hpoe you can help.Regards. J B Leech.
