I saw this for sale on ebay, Is it true that if its worn or broken the back end stears itself. Its called a Torque Tube Dr. Stabilizer Trunnion. Thanks John

The drive shaft on 55-56 and 57 Hudson's is mounted to the transmission with a big rubber gasket, and when it breaks or torn, the drive shaft will move around and back wheels move. This was a bad set up by NASH. Walt.

The drive shaft is 2 pieces, what ever you do try not to let them come apart as they are balanced as a unit and if they go back any other way you will have a vibration at 35 MPH. Walt.
