Phishing - BEWARE
-
A while back there was mention on the forum of phoney package emails floating around. I can't find it at the moment but be advised these emails are still coming around. This is a phishing expedition.
In the past 3 days I've gotten one telling me a package was mailed via FedEx and should be at my home in 10 days; today I got one, same msg, only using DLH. The consist of the address and an attachment you can open to get a tracking number - the only tracking that attachment will be their path into your little computer world, I imagine.
These are so obvious that even old pharts like myself who are nearly blind can spot them. There are email addresses for a lot of people and the format is nowhere near what FedEx (at least - I've gotten tracking notice emails from them in the past) uses. FedEx, for example, does not use an attachment to access the tracking number.
Just a heads up.

I've gotten all three also. They were in my spam file, so I just deleted them. Do not open them!!
Gene.
Just a heads up.
