What brand of radiator cap was originally used on the 53 Hornets(7# Mccord) and what is the correct( original USA made) AC part number that corresponds,if another brand was originally installed?

Ron, It is an AC 7# cap. Type RC-3 AC # 850797. This was also an OEM cap for a number of cars. Hope this helps.

Check on Rockautoparts.com Find the Hudson listing in the index. Click on the car style and then find radiator caps. They show about 4 different styles.

Got an original ac RC-3.Thanks for the tip. I am curious, what type and lb did the 48 and 49s use. Can't find a crossover on line.
