2011 ZL1 Camaro – The Great Camaro Legend Has Retu
-
While out reading about the 2011 Camaro, I came a cross some great news, there will be a 2011 ZL1 Camaro. I though that the release of the 2011 Z28 Camaro could not be beat, but it would seem that I have been proven wrong.
This was news that I never expected to hear, you just can't possibly know how this makes me feel. We are talking about the release of a true Camaro legend, the Zl1 Camaro is not to be taken lightly. The 2011 ZL1 Camaro is a 750 HP supercharged beast.
This is most undoubtedly a super cobra killer, I don't think that a car built short of the ZR1 Corvette will even come close. Once again I salute the general, and every muscle car freak on the earth should do the same thing.
The feature include a redesigned SLP front fascia with heritage-style grille/bowtie emblem and carbon fiber-finish splitter. ZL1® fender and rear decklid badges, SLP forged light-weight wheels, Michelin Sport PS2 tires, and Brembo GT front and rear brakes.
*Redesigned SLP front fascia with heritage-style grille/bowtie emblem and carbon fiber-finish splitter.
*ZL1® fender and rear decklid badges.
*SLP forged light-weight wheels, Michelin Sport PS2 tires, and Brembo GT front and rear brakes.
*Rear 1/4 panel gill insert graphics.
*SLP TVS 2300 Supercharger in Red with 10 PSI boost.
*SLP all carbon fiber hood with functional scoop.
*Carbon fiber-finish dashboard trim, steering wheel trim, and center console accents.
*Katzkin® leather interior trim package (w/cloth Hounds Tooth shown) and ZL1 embroidered headrests.
*SLP short-throw shifter with leather-wrapped ZL® shift knob.
*High-lip rear spoiler with carbon fiber-finish.
*SLP carbon fiber-finish rear diffuser with integrated exhaust outlets and polished aluminum tips.
This is not where the fun stops, the 2011 ZL1 Camaro has an all aluminum 7.0 liter engine stuffed between the front fenders. For those of you who o don't know, or care to learn a 7.0 liter is 427 CID, exactly what the original ZL1 Camaro had in it.
The 2011 ZL1 Camaro comes with an estimated top speed of 205 MPH, running 10 pounds of boost from a SLP TVS 2300 supercharger. This car sounds like tons of fun for those who it doesn't scare to death, if you have a weak heart the 2011 ZL1 Camaro may not be your best choice.
This car is just stuffed with high performance goodies for the true muscle car freaks. You just can't ask for a better Camaro to be built, but it does came at a premium price of about $20,000 more then the 2011 Z28 Camaro.
It really is a great deal considering all of the goodies that the 2011 ZL1 Camaro comes with. If you were to do it all separately you would easily spend another $10,000 over the price it will cost here. There is no doubt that this is an ultra cool car that every Camaro freak should want.
You know that I am a huge Camaro freak, and this is the best news that I have heard since I heard that Chevrolet was going to release the 2011 Z28 Camaro. There is nothing to start my blood pumping like the release of such a cool car as the 2011 ZL1 Camaro.
