Floyd Newlands
-
I have just received word that Floyd Newands - WNY/Ontario Chapter- passed away yesterday. Floyd was a long time valued/respected member of the Hudson family. Many cars and parts passed through his hands over the years, at times introducing people to their first Hudson. He sill had in his possession his 50 Pacemaker Conv. 308 Powered, Excellent car.
Over the past few years he had been battling artheritis. I was told that he fell awhile back and was not able to recover. We have lost another oldtime knowledgeble member.
Please keep his wife Carol and family in your thoughts and prayers.
Rest in Peace Floyd!!
Hudsonly, Jim Spencer
WNY/Ontario Chapter -
I hate to hear that! I was too young to remember him much personally, but I remember his cars and garage. We used to end up there from time to time when I was a kid. He used to have a dark blue 54 sedan that my grandpa owned for awhile , and the first continental kit I ever saw was on one of his cars, very impressive to a 5 year old.
Thoughts & prayers to his family.
Matt
