Custom Rims for fully restored Truck
-
I am in the process of restoring a 1954 f-250. I have everything original with one problem. I have three 16" rims and one 16 1/2" rim. I was wondering how the value would be affected if I just order some new custom rims as opposed to the originals. I would have to find the originals, and the may be hard to come by.
Thanks -
It would affect the value some, but it would only be a matter of getting the stock wheels and bolting them on. BTW if you go to 15" wheels, Ford 1/2 ton rims fit all the way into the 80s! Theres a difference in the way the hubcaps are held on from about 67 up.

Just noticed you're working on a 3/4 ton unit, wheels will fit at least into the 80s. 161/2" wheels were only used for a few years, mostly on the camper specials.
