Oil line routing for a 308
-

Hi
I’m a new guy at the forum from Sweden
I’m in the progress of doing the final assembly of my 308.
Could anyone advice me about the routing of the oil lines bottom of engine to bottom of the filter (like the picture) or the opposite?
I have seen installations with both, looked in the shop manual but I can’t really figure it out.

Andreas - The way the oil lines are hooked in the picture should be right . That's the way mine are and it works fine. Norm

Andreas,
If you are going to paint your filter canister I found that Kubota Tractor Orange is an almost perfect match for the original Fram color. The Hudson/Fram decals are available from K-Gap.
