Fuel Pump Identification assistance..please?
-
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this fuel pump, date it maybe??
It was found in my friends Fathers garage after he passed.
It was in a box marked Ford parts. Knowing how his Father was we are pretty sure it's for a Ford, probably an industrial application, maybe even a tractor? Although his Father never restored any tractors that we know of.
It's an AC fuel pump (#855708 stamped inside glass bowl housing)we can't find any other information anywhere about it. What it went to or a date so figured we would come to the experts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

There's usually a 4 digit number stamped on the edge of the mounting flange, it can be I.D.ed thru this number.

WOW Thanks!!
I bet we looked at this 100x and never saw that its pretty worn but its 9794 and after the 1st "9" it has a small "J" ..I still can't find anything related to that part #. Is the J part of the number? -
It should be part of the number, check with Lester Harris in Minden, Nv. He can probably I.D. it for you. His number is 775-267-2559.
