Antenna Question
-
I just picked up a new CD deck to do a glove box mount in my 53 Super Wasp and was just wondering what my options are for an antenna. The car didn't originally come with a radio and I was trying to avoid drilling a hole in the fender. Would an origianl windshield antenna work with a new stereo or do the hidden antennas I see on ebay actually work?

A fender-mounted antenna was an option, so would not be out of place. Hidden antennas work pretty well, better if mounted as high as possible, like around the inside of the windshield.

The original roof mounted antenna works just fine. You might have to get an extension cable (Radio Shack) depending on where you mount your Unit.
