I got my headliner and floor mats/rugs from Kanter for my 49

They sent samples I could select from.

Also got matching 'rope' trim and cloth to do the front seat, sides and doors.

Also sewn and pleated seat cushion covers. Hog-ring on and fit nice.

Headliner loops had to be trimmed at the ends (sides) to pull tight

http://www.kanter.com Get their catalog...Probably on line by now.

Last I knew, J.C.Whitney also sells headliners

There's another place that probably makes the stuff for Kanter but I can't think of it. Somebody will post it.

For the headliner, you cant beat "Acme Headliner Co, , Long Beach, Calf. They have all the old Hudson Patterns and the correct "peach fuzz" material. Just GOOGLE them for all the info.

I agree with Cargray, Acme does have a good reputation, and that is the company that actually manufactures the headliner (Kanter and J.C. Whitney are merely retailers). However, it's possible that you will be unable to buy directly from Acme. In that case, they may be able to suggest a retailer for their product.

I am not sure who makes the floor mat. K-Gap makes the genuine "Hudson Steel Built Body" mat for the 1930-1947 Hudsons but they only offer a ''universal'' style mat for the later Hudsons.
