Hydramatic fluid?
-
what fluid do you put in the hydramatic? ive read around that Dextron III is the modern equivalent to A. Also how many quarts?
-
Castrol Dexron 111 Mercon is the fluid you want. Hudson hydra-matics, with converter drained holes 11 quarts. Put 5 in, start engine, and slowly add the rest. Do not add any junk to your trans, trouble later. Walt.
-
dextron 3 is what I put in my 52 hornet , you will need about 11 QTS PLUS if trans is dry
-
Thank you so much. I'll drain it and refill:cheer:
