New Guy ... with 46 Pick up
-
just ended a 15 year relationship with a '52 Pontiac Sedan Delivery:woohoo: .. sold it to to a guy in OZ
and have "stolen" this Hudson from another friend  t]
I will be having a few questions as I get deeper into this new ride ...
first thing I can see that needs to be found is new rear view mirrors ... the black ones have to go

I am kinda new to this forum -- (even though Ted W is a buddy) I am learning the uploads
it's titled as a '46 - my buddy traded a '32 Hudson for it about 2 years ago
I just sold my Pontiac (see pic)
and we got to talking and he said he might be ready to downsize
(plus he knew I had some spare cash)
it has a 350 Chevy/ 700r trans / S-10 rear end ,
power steering, disc brakes , ac etc
V-butted windshield - Pontiac Fiero tilt column & Fiero steering wheel
not sure where the buckets seats came from
hand crafted fiberglass tonneau,
I am still "learning about the truck..
it was used as a push car at the 2010 March Meet in Bakersfield for a nostalgia dragster
He created (detachable) push bars ..he was chosen "best push vehicle"
runs and drives great -- paint is fair - most of the engineering is good
just needs a few details worked out
my buddy used it as a daily driverP1110865.JPG800 x 600 - 55K30957.JPG800 x 484 - 41KP1130962.JPG800 x 600 - 57KP1130966.JPG600 x 800 - 37K -
