65 Ford Mustang 2 door sdn
-
I just came into a 1965 Ford Mustang that was a gentlemans sons project car, the son left the car in the garage and stopped working on it. The wife wanted the car gone so dad basically gave it to us. Its still a work in progress but from what we can tell for someone who wants to do the work it will be a great car. Has 2 engines, the extra is to help rebuild the other one. The seats although not bolted in are inside the car and seem in good condition, and the body is primered but in good condition. Has good tires on it, and all the parts are with it. Im for sure not planning to keep it, but I know it has value and wonder if anyone here has a clue how to find that value out??

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to tell without seeing the car.
The best answer is "whatever someone is willing to pay. Pictures can help but do not tell the entire story.
I would ask around on some Mustang message boards or talk to someone in your area familiar with older cars. Maybe a Mustang club or a local AACA club.
You could try to look in publications like Hemmings and see if you can find something in similar condition.
Good luck with the car. 65 Mustangs are great cars.
