Re: Has this Forum died?

As some of you can tell, we have been working on making Internet Explorer a bit easier to use with the forum. In addition, we have made numerous upgrades to the system and patches this weekend. You can see from the blue skin that we are working from the base files.
I think you will find that the file attachment feature is working properly now for Internet explore. As a problem earlier with this function. Please tried out and see if you don't find that it works better now.Ted J. Welch

Test.

Bingo!
Clicking "Add File" takes me directly to "my Pictures"- I clicked on the one I wanted, clicked Open, then it took me back to my reply, I clicked Insert, and there it was. I suspect some have their pics at some location rather than My Pictures, and will have to navigate to wherever they are stored. It also opened another "add file" box, so I'm assuming I could have added multiple pics if I wanted.

Test for how many photos can I post!!
I got a tired finger after 17 but it couldn't be easier. No need to minimise the size, the site does that automatically. I do recommend making a note of the file names (descriptions) of the photos you want to post, much easier than trying to sort & post at same time.

Photos from NZ HET Club trip late October 2010 - we had 3 days of dirt roads, big country, lots of up & down & minimal car problems amongst the 12 cars from the 20's & 30's that came.KIF_4699.JPG800 x 600 - 64KKIF_4700.JPG800 x 600 - 83KKIF_4741.JPG800 x 600 - 60KKIF_4743.JPG800 x 600 - 53KKIF_4771.JPG800 x 600 - 50KKIF_4772.JPG800 x 600 - 45KKIF_4842.JPG800 x 600 - 45KKIF_4852.JPG800 x 600 - 61Kkif_4882.JPG800 x 600 - 56Kkif_4884.JPG800 x 600 - 73Kkif_4896.JPG800 x 600 - 74Kkif_4898.JPG800 x 600 - 76Kkif_4908.JPG800 x 600 - 72KKIF_4913.JPG800 x 600 - 68Kkif_4944.JPG800 x 600 - 46Kkif_4946.JPG800 x 600 - 64Kkif_4951.JPG800 x 600 - 61KDave Y

Dave,
Thanks for posting the pictures! Looks like you folks had a great time.
One would suspect that when those cars were new that they drove many a mile on roads such as those.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your NZ trip. It is neat to see so many cars of the 20 & 30's on such a trip. What an adventure!!! That looks like fun. I'd like to take a trip like that sometime with many Hudsons, Terraplanes and Exxexs.
When your fingers rests will you share more pictures please.

WOW!!! What great photo's. Now I call that a tour... I like the photo of the Railton and the one of the "assistance" getting across the river. That is some great work. I'll try to post more than one photo and see if it works for me... hay, one of the new features of the upgrade they just completed.. I guess I could post a string of photo's of the 36 Hudson Restoration now...Sardine Canyon February 2010 DSCN0523.JPG800 x 599 - 48K

Wow, that picture from France looks like it's from a fairy tale. Beautiful.
-
I would expect that most cities in France photograph this good? What city is this and is it located up North? Just wondering if I have been there?Brownie

Dave, that is a great series of photo's. Over here (USA) many of us won't drive our Hudson products on anything but paved dry roads. Looks like your group had a lot of fun. Must admit that I am envious.
