I wanted to ask if anyone knows the whole true story of Hudson cars! des of its founding until 1956 it was taken over by another company ....:unsure:

I remember having read something in the forum .. but some time ago .... and was in the old forum .... so now I can not find..

Good to hear from you. A very good book on the history of Hudson is: THE HISTORY OF HUDSON By Don Butler. It is out of print now, but sometimes a copy will be fore sale on ebay.

I'm still here in the forum to get the maximum of documentation that I can ... to start restoration soon!! But as my English is not good ... I prefer not to write much! jijiji:unsure:

I can not get my head Hudson ... because my father is desperate! he says this is going to be the project of my life! ejjejejej...

I am much happier than at the beginning ... because I'm finishing another car .... (Pontiac Fiero) next month I will remove it from the garage to test for reliability ... and you're ready! so this means that I can start with the Hudson !!!!!!

some pieces are already in boxes stacked in the garage ... so this winter will spend the Christmas calm ... and then !!!!!! work work work on the car !!!!!

I have an album of forums that I have wanted to teach you all! they are beautiful and pleasant of times .. but better leave that for another thread ... and he was clean!

about the book ... I have seen some books on ebay (TKS).... It must be said that are a little expensive ..... but I will try next month to get some ...

even than in digital ... I wonder why ... if they knew of some web ... because I have to always use the google translator ... its do dificolt for me...

I have a press release I can send you a copy of that gives a pretty good thumbnail sketch of the company.

Drop me an email @ NEChudsontech09@yahoo.com (drop the NEC) and I'll send you a copy - it will be later in the week as I'm in Texas at the moment, but will be home Tuesday nite.

There is also a history in chapters in several Service Magazines - I can copy that also for you if you wish.

Hola Jordi and welcome to the forum. I am a member here since about 6 month now and I can assure you that the best people on the net stand here. And they know what they are talking about! Many many years of experience in Hudsons here. By the way, since you are in Spain, you can check for "Pierre de France" a member of this forum who is restoring a step-down Hudson in Alsace, maybe not too far away from your place. And don't forget to post pictures of your car! Michel.

I am convinced that you are right in the response.
because what you said, I knew of the existence of more Hudson in Europe (not many more) and I do not rule out that in the future take a short trip if luck comes and Pierre is available ... regretting it this far ... (Map) but I would be happy to talk and watch another hudson!

I have to admit that we waited so good book!
very very nice! with all the pictures! readings ...

Now I have to learn a good English to understand all the words that are in the ..... yet I have enough vocabulary that cost me some!
I have thought of translating whole in Spanish for easier reading!

I have to thank you for having sold the book! I have it at a reasonable price!!:cheer: :cheer:
