Repaint questions.

I finally got the S.W.stripped down to send to the paint/body shop,and was selecting the paint. The original paint is Ebony black but can't find a color chip of that particular black.What modern shade is closest to original and was ebony a deep shiny black or somewhat less than glossy ?I would appreciate any input on the subject? J.R.
