No more "Cars And Parts"
-
"Cars And Parts" mag. will be discontinued and a new "Auto Enthusiast" mag. is replacing it. Received my copy today. Boy, is it lousy! 90% adds. and mostly for modern cars that I have no interest in.Threw it away, will never buy another.
-
Ouch!~ but thanks, I need not run out and buy this one...Brownie
-
Yeah! , I got one yesterday - if I wanted a HotRod magazine I'd go buy one !
Too bad , it was'nt prefect but not too many good old car mags left,

It's a shame that so many magazines are going to mass quantities of adds. I'm sure that it's not cheap to operate a publication like that and they have to get the revenue from somewhere. Problem is that things do suffer and it becomes uninteresting.
Thanks for the heads up though
Ron -
The sad part to much of this change in publications is that corporate America goes where the most bucks are - and at this point in time it's the younger crowd. The 18-30 year olds.
Trouble is there's a pretty good "gray haired" audience in the old cars market - but we really don't count any more.

Yeah, Alex,
But isn't that the group that is higher percentage out of work?
I know you and I are not rich, but a lot of retired folks have plenty of money to spend. That's who's buying up all my Hudson parts. The casinos here are full of the older folks.
