Win number on -47 Olds?
-
Did anyone know if/where there is a stamped win number to the frame on a 1947 Olds?
I was told that it should be on the frame just in front of the foremost body mount on the driver’s side but I haven’t found anything there.
Thanks -
VIN number on these cars was the engine number, I'm sure it was stamped on the frame also, but where I don't know,. Perhaps it was on the crossmember near the rear axle' Sometimes it was stamped on the top of the crossmember known as the secret or F.B.I. code number.
