'49 Commodore Convertible?

I found this car very interesting. Has it been listed before?

This is not a convertible. It looks like possibly a brouham or 4dr.that has had the top cut off? Yes,it has been listed before but I don't know if it sold.

Don't know if listed before, but it's certainly not an original "factory" convertible (which you may already realize). That said, it looks like an interesting and unique car.
THIS JUST IN-- I just spoke to one of our local chapter members who lives in Colonial Beach, Va., where this car is located. He has known of the car for some years now and says that it is absolutely pristine underneath -- not a bit of rust. Of course, it's not an original convertible, and it has no windows, which makes it of limited use. And it's somewhat customized. But the paint job if very nice, he says. -
Can you say Carson Top and full custom? Not my bag, but not a bad way to go.Brownie
