ford LTD II sending unit

Looking for any advice and some direction on finding a new fuel sending unit for my 79 ltd II 302 5.0 liter. Also if anyone has any experience in changing out the entire fuel system i.e. gas tank, lines, & the whole works, I'd be interested in hearing from you. I'm about to tackle this project this winter.
