Stepdown Brake Hose part numbers
-
I need a new rear brake hose for my 52 Hornet (yes, everything needs to be rebuilt, but this'll get me puttzing around the neighborhood). I've looked up parts in NAPA and Advance Auto's online stores. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right thing.
From Advance Auto:
Wagner Brake Hose part# BH80028, interchanges w/ NAPA UP 5784. My question here is the NAPA site gives M10 x 1 fittings, and I want to make sure thats right. Seems a little early for metric threads to show up on an American car. Because the front hoses, NAPA part# UP 36794, show 3/8-24 fittings.
Anyway, want to make sure I'm seeing everything right.Six in a row makes it GO! -
I have part # 11149 listed as the Napa part number for rear brake hose, but that also has M10 x 1 fitting. Hope that helps. Have you tried the starter yet?

Thanks Don. Starter works great, got it in that Sunday.Six in a row makes it GO!

To get the correct hose, contact Norm Blackmer at 909-984-5544 in southern CA. He has all the correct brake parts for Hudsons and they are all new parts. Keep the business in the Hudson club. Walt.

I used these already. New manufacture direct replacement. If you need one asap, I think they are stocked at most stores...
