log on problems

Seems like my favorite web site has forgot me.I have been a member for about 2 yrs and last night i tried to log on and could not,when i tried to reset my password it said my e mail address didnt match my user name. had to re register to sign on.any body had problems J.R.

Do not feel bad. You are not the only one that this has happened to. I E-mailed for help and within minutes I was up and running. You cannot have any itallics or exclamation marks on your user name. The new system does not allow it.

As far as the logging on/ off problem is concerned, try "benign neglect"- it works for me. I haven't logged on, or off, for years. And everytime I come back via my "favorites", it recognizes my username, and we're off to the races. Even when they changed to the new format, my "favorites" click brought me to the list of forums, I clicked on Hudson, it said "Welcome, Mike (WA)" and on I went, without a hiccup. Only difference is that before, it went directly to the Hudson forum, now I've got one extra click. It's working, so I'm not gonna mess with it.
You couldn't get me to log off this thing on a bet- I'd probably never figure out how to get back on. -
That is correct. When I tried to get on the first time, I used my old sign on name and would not get on. Wrote to Ted and he told to leave the ' from walt's. NO more problems. Walt
