Your thoughts on a 1974 Comet please

Hello,
Stumbled upon a 1974 Comet being sold by a friend of a friend. Car is bone stock, inline six, 100% origional and in outstanding shape. I have never seen an old car with paint as nice as the paint on this car. No wrecks, drives like a dream. Interior is spotless -- the last owner took out the original radio and installed an AIWA cd player. Otherwise, 100% OEM.
I can't find a damn thing about this car online.
What is a fair price for this car? Were there/are there known problems for this car? It would be "leased" to our girls for their first set of wheels --to and from work, school, etc.

P.S. Forgot to say it is a two door coupe, automatic, and has 52,000 miles on it. No power steering, no power brakes, no air.
