Derham
-
I just purchased a '39 12 club coupe with the 139 inch wheel base and I beleive the car to be a derham bodied car but there are no badges on it. Is there anyway to tell if it is or are there any records somewhere that might show if it is a Derham car? I know Packard records can be sketchy at best but I hoping maybe there might be a record from Derham.

Since there has been no responce to your request, I will suggest joining the Packard Club and checking with the Packard Club at PackardClub.org. The club probably has a library that may have the information you seek. There is sure to be some knowlegeable club member that may help out.
Will you post some pictures of you 1939 Derham? I would like to see what one looks like.
Good luck. Lee O'Dell -
Packard's International has a Facebook site now.

what physical attributes lend you to think the body was made by Derham? Does it have a padded top?
I can't imagine Hudson using a dinky 6 cyl. engine in a long w.b. sedan!?!??! -
The Derham corporate archives are at the Gilmore Museum, Hickory Cornors, Michigan.
