removing firewall defroster
-
I need to repair/replace the heater control valve on my 1950 Pontiac Streamliner. In order to do this, I need to remove the firewall defroster unit. I can't find any bolts/nuts to remove it. Does anyone know how to remove it?

As a matter of fact I do as I own one.The box which house the heater as like 4 little 5/16 head screw all around it.There maybe more but mine only had the 4. To take the whole thing out has a few behind the core and I think mine had 1 coming in from the passanger compartment
