Finally - after 2 months of scanning and 568 pages THE BOOK that should be on every step-down owners bookshelf is on-line in the on-line library @

http://hetclub.org/burr/ - scroll to the bottom and click on "Manuals", then scroll down to 1948-1954........... And the best thing is this manual is searchable. Type in a part number (this book gives only the numerical equivilent - the alpa/numeric part number (BO xxxxx) has been superceeded, so all you need is the number.

Now, I have permission from the previous owner to sell this book. I had to take it apart so it is in a 3-ring binder. Front cover is in rough condition, but the interior is in good shape thru-out. Because it has been taken apart I'm offering it for $20 - $15 for the book itself, $5 for shipping and handling. Drop me an email at hudsontech09@yahoo.com - first email gets it.

Thanks and a big thanks to the HET member who gave this book to be put on-line.

    Now I think I'll take a vacation for a couple months!!!!!!! :D

When you'vehad enough of Australia, come to New Zealand & try one of our spare bedrooms!! We've just sent one child to NY for a couple of years so it's only right that one of you guys comes over here. I'll even find you a HET car to drive if that's what's needed for encouragement!!

To be strictly honest about scanning this 1948-1954 manual, I must say I just discovered the HET Club Store has it in their inventory, for those who want a hard copy.

I did not know they had it - or if I did I had forgotten.
