Hello
I just bought a 68 GMC stepside. The seller told me that he thinks that it has the original motor in it ,, and that he also thinks that it is a 327 but not sure. I have the block casting number on the pass side, front of head "10w267997" and the VIN is "ce10cpb56873" Any info you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Are you sure of the numbers?
Try the guys at chevytalk.com they should be able to help.

thanks Ron
I will check them out.
That is the numbers i read off of the block forward of the right head,,,,,,, may not be the right number to check, I didn't think their should be letters with the number
I should have a little time to mess with it in a few days, I will clean the block good and see what else I can find.
Thanks again
Lonny -
