Labor Day Weekend
-
55 years ago this weekend, I ruined a good Hudson.
Have a fun, safe weekend, and stay AWAKE!49H11_128357012846509.JPG232 x 156 - 10K -
Glad you survived - what would we do without you. Ya know - today somebody would probably restore that car!!!!
Yes, anybody that's traveling stop often for coffee and rest breaks. We like having everybody safe and sound.

I think you have more than made up for destroying that car by all the Hudsons you have saved over the years!

being retired, I have learned that the best way to spend a 3 day vacation is to stay at home and out of the way of all those crazy folks trying to turn a weeks vacation into three days.....Brownie

I agree!! As I get older, I find the best way to spend any of the holiday weekends is to stay home. -
What they said!!!! Altho, I did go to the library about 9 this morning. Memphis is a very easy city to get around in - tho you do have to be careful in some neighborhoods. I didn't used the I-40/240 loop - stayed on city streets. Traffic was very, very lite. Guess everybody is traveling.
I'm staying home, too - but, if I was going anywhere I'd look seriously at doing my traveling over on the old 2-lane roads, like U S 51, U S 61, U S 64, etc.
