In the just received Sept. 9 issue of OCW is a 2 page article about Hudson's "boattail" production with 2 photos of Eldon's '31 H BT taken recently at a car show someplace, then 2 of a '27 E BT at a different car show (owner not identified), then a separate article and a photo of a '27 E BT that had been taken apart & nickle plated as an adv. ploy by a co. in K. C., Mo.

In the main article it says in re Eldon's "One of the five remaining Hudson Sport Roadsters from the original run of 12 - - - ". I wonder where they got that info & if it is true? I think if I sit here & mull long enough I can come up with having seen more than 5 of them.

The article about the nickle plated one is quite interesting & the author tells how her dad bought the E BT, took it apart, had it plated etc., then parked it in front of the family plating business. The family traded it in for a Pierce in '39 - she wonders what happened to it, if it still exists.
