electric fuel pump
-
Can someone tell me what the best electric fuel pump for a 51 merc with a 3/4 race engine.that has dual 97s on it.
I have had a stewart warner pump on it for the last 2 years and it does not work any longer.I took it off and hooket it direct to a battery and it is like no juiceto it.: -
As long as you have a pump that keeps up with volume you need it should last.
Could something have contaminated it ? Maybe you need a filter just before the pump to help keep any debree out of the pump.
Also, did you mount the pump close to the fuel tank? They work better that way.
