wa-1 carburator
-
Can the metering rods of a wa-1 carb be changed, that is be re-manufactured to match for a twin-h setup? Or does the rebuild kits have new metering rods? I would like to know because I do not want to have a mismatched set and cause problems on a twin-h

The metering rods for all WA-1 carburetors are replaceable. The metering rods are not part of a rebuild kit. In the past the metering rods were available for purchase. Today new metering rods are like most all other old car parts...something you have to find via the swapmeet, old parts vendors etc.
There are several companies who specialize in the rebuild of carburetors, but I am unsure if they offer NOS replacement metering rods. -

If it,s a 968s or 2113s, those are for a Hornet 308 engine, I can rebuild them for you with the correct metering rods.
