    John-

What kind of visor is on your '54? Does it have a stainless strip along the leading edge? . . . just educating myself.

    Russell,

It's a Sun-Shield sun visor. It does not have a stainless steel strip on the leading edge, it is cast pot metal with threaded studs cast into the back of the strip. It is attached to the visor tin with nuts. It also has a one of a kind center support which is cast aluminum, I've never seen another one like it.

    Thanks Mike!

I have tried to add just the right amount of bling without going too over the top!

Hi John I found a person that has a 53 Ford coupe with a Sun Shade visor with the same center mounting bracket that you have but was wondering if the visor is adjustible from a ford to a hudson and what kind of side brackets would I need for a 54 Hornet Hollywood are they the same as a sedan I emailed you but did not hear from you Ray:D

    Ray,

I have not received an email nor a PM from you.

I don't know if the Ford visor would be a straight swap, but if it's close you could probably modify the brackets to fit your Hollywood. You can also find various sun visor parts at swap meets in case you don't have the exact parts you need.

As a side note, I still have the NOS piece of stainless trim (243465) that you were interested in last year... but never did hear back from you.

There are a number of Fulton Sun shade visors on eBay... the following link is to one that is complete with side and roof mounts... pricey item though.

WOW Cool Piece! I think it would probably fit a 54 Hudson. I am a day late and a dollar short in finding another one. It sold for less than what I paid for mine eight years ago. Hope a Hudson owner got it... Russell, Ray, Ken?
