    Hello,

Can anyone tell me what vintage this part would be? It is a Thermostat Regulator, and is Hudson part# 165113. I could not find a listing in my 1950 Hudson interchange manual.

    Thank you, and take care,

By the color of the box and logo design, I would tend to beleive it would be from the mid to late '30s. I too could not find a listing in the later parts manuals.

Part number would indicate it's from the forties. Apparently an adjustable thermostat. Never saw one before ... neat idea.

I've been thru the parts books I have (37, 38, 39, 40) and no come up with number.

I wonder tho - that logo "Keep Americas Safest Car Safe" leans toward 1939.

Very interesting part. I never heard of an adjustible thermostat. looks simple enough in operation. Not in my interchange manual either. Did Hudson publish an interchange manual after 1950?

Interesting... If you get a vapor lock situation do you turn it to "alchohol", have a drink and wait for the motor to cool down?
