My Dad bought a new 59 Catalina 4 dr and the power brakes on it would almost put you into the windshield. It has the same suspension and about the weight as your car.
I have worked on a few cars that were converted to 4 wheel disc brakes that did not stop as good as that old Poncho. And they were about 800 lbs lighter. In fact they stopped better with the original disc front and drums rear.
If this is a restoration, than this brake set up would not be correct.
I don't know of any 4 wheel disc brake kit made for your car. However, if you are set on such a set up you might call Guldstrand Motor Sports. Talk to Dick about what you want. His phone number is 818 558 1499.
