They look to be right size, I googled them, but couldn't find any hits on someone who sells them.

Don't know anything about Verde Wheel Replicas, but they look like the Chrysler repros. With the multi-bolt hole patterns, will probably fit a variety of makes. Not quite like the originals, as they were lip-laced, and these are not. However, many Hudnuts use this type of wheel.

Only concern I would have would be the '7' in the "15 x 7". Some diligent homework will determine if the width would fit in the rear of a step-down, if that is your goal.

Yes, was considering them for a stepdown. Too rich for me, though. $1500 for a set. If someone else is interested, I'll send you the contact information. The person selling these is also selling a 52 Hornet sedan (twin-h, hydro, sunvisor 80K mile car). Asking 15-16K for the car and the rims.

Nice looking car. I have not seen a "cattle catcher" like that one before. Is the front like it?

If this is the same car, then front pictured below from an older photo taken many years ago.

Looks to be the same car, though I didn't get a front shot of it. The license plate says Ohio, but I believe it's for sale in Northern Virginia.

Those cow-catchers are my new candidate for the "Most Unattractive Accessory" award. Of course, I don't even like bumper guards (why did they put 4 on some models? 2 was bad enough).

If these rims are truly 7" wide, they won't fit the rear of a stepdown without modification to the bottom rear of the skirt. In addition, if back spacing is something other than 3-1/2" on a 7" rim, they likely won't fit in the rear wheelhouse at all.

These appear to be the Hudson-Packard-Chrysler, etc. repo wire wheel, sold by Wheel Vintiques and others, although mine are 15x6.

That's what I thought, but wasn't positive without taking a measurement with tire mounted.

As far as those "cow-catchers" go, I think they rank right up there (as far as on the ugly side goes) with the aftermarket taillight assemblies made for step-downs that mounted up high on the trunk area and gave the step-downs a "fin" look. Also, these were accessories for '48-'49, so I've been told, and really look even worse on the later step-downs, IMO.

I know we weren't really talking about cow-catchers, but I once owned a 50 Commodore 8 conv project that came with them, but only for the front I think. As was said, they are ugly things and would not have been going back on the car. I recall the tall over riders were made by a Chicago manufacturer.

There are a few glimpses of the car and cow-catcher when it was still a driver back in this '75 Ted Mulry rock video
