American Pickers: Super Scooter
-
I was just watching this re-run episode and they passed on making an offer on an approx 54-55 Metropolitan-Nash with a Hudson badged grill that has been stored undercover since 1968
The car looked amazing - keys were still in the ignition. Story is the womans husband bought the car for her to learn to drive...she never did so he parked it.
It might be worth doing some investigation to see if the car might be available still?
Towards the end of the episode..

I actually emailed them months ago, asking for the info... Knew they would ignore it, and they have.
I'm pretty sure the detective types with HET will find it (or already have). Would love to know if someone has actually found and acquired it... -
American Pickers is one of my favorite shows! I saw this episode, too, and thought about how nicely that oxidized paint would buff out. What a nice original this could be.Take a Ride in a Hudson Jet!
