Hudsons in the Heartland
-
Hey Guys,
Man, You get sick and get off the forums for awhile, and things really go to pot.
I have'nt heard any mention of the Pigeon Forge meet! I know things are tight and many planned to attend the nationals. But for those who can't make the Nationals, the Pigeon Forge meet is the next best thing. Priced right and located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.....If you haven't done so yet, Get your reservations in now. So much to do you won't know where to start. So many Hudsons and Hudsonites if aint even funny.
When I left the Hospital back in August, I didn't know wether I would be around for the meet or not, but I went ahead and made my reservation anyways. If there is any way possible I will be there!
Hope to see you all there......

BJ:
Reservations made last year, will be there, will bring dual outlet exhaust manifold Adapters if we have any left. Good to see you posting again.
Does anyone know that we have the whole hotel for our meet?
And good rates, lots of places for shoppers, and eating. Be there. Bob -
Bob, The motel will hold all rooms for the club until Sept. 30th after that, they will accept reservations from non club people.
Super Dave, I hope to see you and Joan also I have already made my reservations for the same room I had last year. I'll be there if I there is anyway possible. My heart is not giving me much trouble and I am having a lot easier time breathing. That's as close as I can come to a promise right now.

Great meet we will be there for sure !!!!!

Shameless bump, Just keeping it at the top. Remember, if you can't get to Spokane, Pigeon Forge will be open all year long. More to do than last year and still growing. Have fun, rain or shine, hot or cold. Hudson people are always fun to be around.

Guys,
Please direct me to the meet registration and info. Thanks.

Hey Roger,
The details of the meet
should be in the WTN events page. Registration is held in the hospitality room at the hotel.
Vacation Lodge @ traffic light # 7 in Pigeon Forge TN. Official dates are Oct. 28th -31. However the Hudnuts sometimes start coming in on Monday the 25th and of course everyone starts leaving on Sunday morning. Unless things have changed that I don't know about, there is no registration fee. There will be music and singing on Saturday the 30th from 1 or 2 o'clock till every body leaves. If weather co-operates it will be in the rear parking lot. In case of rain we will use the parking garage and the hospitality rooms. The phone number for the Vacation Lodge is
865-453-2640
3450Parkway
Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
Bobby Hickson.......See You there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Better make your reservation now. Look forward to meeting ya'll. Bob

Lee, The only problem with having them back to back is the timing. with the National always in June/July and the Heartland Meet in Pigeon Forge is always the last weekend in October. When I originally set up the meet in Pigeon Forge, I checked with every motel/hotel in town and the last weekend in October was the only weekend available. The owners of the Vacation Lodge have been very helpful in anything we have asked about. Mr. Banker, the owner, has granted our every wish since we have been there. I have never seen anyone that works so hard at making us feel at home there.

Bob, It was a fanciful dream of mine. We hope to make the Pigeon Forge meet sometime. That place is one of our favorites to visit. Even though we live in Ca. we still have a house in Elizabethton, Tn.. When Bettie retires from the school where she works, we can attend your meet. We enjoy any meet we attend but I can't think of a more beautiful place to have a Hudson meet than in the Heartland. Were looking forward to meeting you and new Hudson friend there in the future.
Have a great meet. Lee -
Thanks Lee,
Hopefully I will get to meet you there sometime in the future.
It might not be right, but I am proud of the meet and the way it has grown over the years. We try to make it affordable and fun for everyone without making up schedules. There is so much to do we just let it go freestyle, other than the low country boil on Saturday night and drawing for door prizes. Everyone is free to do what they want.
