question on fender interchangeability
-
If you mean front
coupe and sedan are the same
1951-53 124" wheel base i.e. Hornet, Commodore and Super
52 and 53 are the same. I think the extension at the parking light is different for 51 and the trim holes will be different.
If you are talking rear it will be only 52 and 53 but wheelbase doesn't matter but coupe brougham and convertible are the same (and different from 4dr sedan) -
Hi - from the 1948-1949 Master Chassis and Body parts book:
1952, to start out,
Front Fenders (all) - 6B, 7B, 8B, 7C (231512/513)
Rear Fenders (Sedan) - 1952, 4C, 5C, 7C (230500/501)
Rear Fenders (2Sedan, Cpe, Cv, Hollywood) - 1952, 4C, 5C, 7C (230490/491)
1948-1950 - all interchange
1951, exc. Pacemaker 4A
1954 - 6D, 7D
1952-1953 - 4B, 5B, 4C, 5c
1954 - 4D, 5D
Of course Jet is Jet and interchanges with only jet
Rear Fenders -
1948-1951 Sedan (212020/021)
1948-1951 Cpe, Cv, Hollywood (212026/027)
1954 - 7D 4-Sedan (240324/325)
1954 - 7D Cpe (241730/731

Enjoyed our tour this evening and commend your efforts to save the orphans of the world(cars that is). Now, lets get down to the business at hand, lets save more Hudsons, we wish you the best in your efforts and will help pursue that effort. That was exhausting.
