Hudson 8
-
I have a Hudson 8 engine I believe is a 1936 with number 16816 can anyone confirm?
Thanks Spencer. -
Spencer, it could be a Terraplane 8 (1933) or a '36 Hudson 8. The former had engine No's starting at 15001, and '36 started at 1000. To identify, the '33 motor had a ridged head, with the water pump mounted on the front, and the '36 had a flat head ,with the water pump mounted on the block. Hope this helps.

Thanks Geoff, It has a flat head and water pump on the block so that makes it a 36.I had both engine nos. but didn't know the difference between the 33 and 36 and now I know so thank you once again.
Spencer.
