water discharge 52 pacemaker

    Hi everyone have a 52 pacemaker to cut a long story short mechanic left car outside in the rain for around 10hrs normally is never in rain to my horror upon picking up had around 1" water on the floor drivers side (US) passenger side (Australia). i noticed there is a drain point tucked up under the dash which appears to require a hose to be attached. where does the hose run to after connecting to drain? Cheers:(

    it goes through the side of the cowl into the fender. You should have a floor drain in the rear of the floorboard. it will be about a 2" hole and should not have a solid plug but one that is sort of h -shaped with a louver.
