1953 Chevy 3100 Towing Capacity

    I cannot find listed anywhere towing capacities for the advance design trucks. Would anyone happen to know the maximum towing capacity of the 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup?

    basic rule is the weight of the truck and trailer brakes above 3000#.

    (of course this rule can be broken to whatever you are comfortable with....)

    1/2 ton truck equals 1000 lbs.
