courtesy lights in headliner

    any one no if rear courtesy lights were a option in 53 super wasps. looks like brackets are there to instal something nad the only thing i can thick of are lights. any one have any for sale

    any info appreciated

    Steve,

    My 53 Super Wasp didn't have the rear courtesy lights installed, but did have the mounting brackets welded in place. I just purchased a set of housings, bezels, and a switch before I replaced my headliner. I ran the wire from hot side of the door plunger behind the kick panel to the switch on the b pillar and then to each light. It made sense to me to add them while I was in there.
