I have put both units in my 55 88 and it's not that hard. Existing holes might have to be modified a little and you may need to change the brakeline juction box. The bendix sholud be able to be rebuilt by someone on the web, usually just 2 seals go, the power steering can be remanned with new seals but I have never heard of anyone being able to build the tappered gears inside so try to find a unit without to much play. Some adjustment can be made using the screw on top.

Thanks for your help. Sounds like I might be able to do it myself with some help from my mechanic friends. Will the steering valve bolt up to the linkage or will i need the linkage off the donar car? Noticed on different posts the powerbrake pedal is different, how does that work. Thanks again. Randy

Hi Randy. It's been a long time since I have done this so I can't remeber everything. There is a plate that that holds you new power pedal. You may have to cut the floor boards to make it fit. It'll have all the pedal hardware I believe. As for the ps linkage, you might as well grab the pitman arm just in case but the rest of the linkage is the same.
