Vehicle Newb
-
Hello all.
I have a 1976 F-150 Ranger. It had been sitting at a neighbor's for ten years and one day he decided to give it to me. I want to make it road worthy again but cars have never been my 'cup of tea.' I honestly know nothing about them. My step dad had been working on the engine and he has unbound it and gotten it running. It does need a new fuel pump before it will actually run with some *ooomf*.
The part of the truck that is my responsibility is the interior. I need to know where to find seat covers, stereos, speakers, etc. that will fit in this model of truck. Or how to go about finding them.
Your Friend,
Vehicle Newb. LOL! -
Google is a good place to start.
Local car Stereo places.
SMS fabrics
Sounds like a good Father and Son bonding project.
The best of luck with it.

Alright, thank you for the options. (: My mom told me to try to type in the model of my truck and what I needed for it in Google to see what I would get but Google was no help. Possibly I am not typing in the correct information. But I will definitely check out the websites and places you have recommended.
Haha, it will be a good Father and Daughter bonding experience. I am a female Vehicle Newb. LOL. -
Sorry for the mistake but I find very few females getting involved in restoration unless thay are half naked and drapped over the hood.
I hope you have a good bonding with your father on this truck.
Also you can start here

It's refreshing to see young people (especially females) getting into this hobby and working on old American iron instead of tunners. I give you a lot of credit. I hope you have fun with it. Keep us posted as to ypur progress.
In the Google search window, try typing "1976 ford F-150" or "Ford truck interiors" or "Ford truck messae boards". Maybe you will hit on something.
