Marvel Carb. refurbishing
-
Can't help you on who sold the carb, but of course even if I knew, there's no guarantee that the person selling it could help you refurbish yours.
Are you aware of the on-line literature regarding refurbishment of Marvel carbs?

I pickup up a complete 29 Marvel, manifold, air cleaner a heat tube a few months back for $400.00 for my 29 Sedan.
I have yet to proceed with rebuild until I get the engine cleaned out and fluids changed and running with the current down draft carter modification..

I have one of these carbies. You can have it for the postage cost. There is some pot metal corrosion. Email me at hetozhudson@gmail.com.au. delete the het and we can swap photos & details. Regards, Barry

You can likely get rebuild parts from a place called The Carburetor Shop www.thecarburetorshop.com
He is extremely knowledgable his kits are very high quality and often conatin parts many so called kits leave out. He gets super busy so be prepared to rebuild your own or get in a very long line for his services.

Some pics of the one that came with a 31 Essex engine I bought. Haven't done anything but a cursory cleaning so far though. I'll share what I end up with
when I get that far.
