New 36T convertible model
-
Brooklin of England has finally released its new 1:43 model of a '36 Terraplane convertible. Got mine yesterday from their US distributor, Die-Cast Direct. Check it out at http://www.diecastdirect.com/asp_modules/add_item.asp?ProductCode=BR-BK-153.
Fortunately the actual color is a bit darker than shown on the web site (though it's still too light for Hudson Blue). They used my former '36H as the reference for the convertible body, but chose to do it as a Terraplane, probably because they still had front-end tooling from their '36 Terraplane sedan model. Anyway, it's nicely done, and looks good. -
Congratulations Park,
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The car looks great, just like yours did. I hope that someday they would consider doing a 36T truck, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Now if they just made a little Park W to go with the car!
