Our Newest Toy
-
I have yet to get pictures but our newest toy is a 1929 Ford model A Speedster its a cute lil thing but it needs alot of work and it needs to be put back together but its gonna be a family project...my dad got in in trade for a car trailer but the "doodlebug" came with enough parts to make two cars...two motors two trannies and idk what else....
-
Congratulations on the new aquisition. I hope that your dad and you have a great time making it new again. They are a lot of fun once you get them all finsihed and they have a super following so parts are not hard to come by.
Don't forget to post some pictures and the progress of your bonding experience.
Best of luck with it.

thanks...im super excited but dont tell him that lol
im not sure if its gonna be restored or turned into a hot rod though...we will see...my neighbor across the road customizes his own hot rods and then sells them so who knows -
Well, if this is going to be a bonding experience along with the fun, then I would think that you need to tell him and get his opinion.
I've seen many of both restored to factory new and hot rodded and like most of them when they are done tastefully.
Whatever you do, do it for the two of you. Do it to please you not the guy across the street or anyone else. Have a lot of fun with doing it and afterwards have even more fun.
One more thing. Keep us posted how you are doing with plenty of thoughts that you have and accomplishments. And don't forget the pictures.
Good luck.
